billing your Insurance company
Birthing Adventures Midwifery requires a $2000.00 deposit to initiate care with our practice with the full fee of $8000.00 due by 36 weeks. We offer a sliding scale and payment plans for folks that can demonstrate financial need.
If you are planning on billing your insurance company for your prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care please follow the instructions below to contract with Maggie Otero of Innovative Medical Billing, for this purpose. After the last postpartum visit your insurance will be billed and you will receive reimbursement up to, but not exceeding the full fee for care.
If you have a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) insurance plan you can verify your insurance benefits coverage of homebirth with our biller Maggie Otero at Innovative Medical Billing. We require any clients interested in billing their private insurance company at the end of care to contract with them to receive reimbursement.
Complete the 4 steps below to get the ball rolling and then Maggie will get back to you with a detailed description of what your insurance will cover:
Step 1: Fill in Form Completely: Click here: Innovative Medical Billing. (Address for form: 524 Pennsylvania Ave, San Francisco, 94107)
Step 2: Submit Completed Form
Step 3: A $55.00 fee applies. Make Payment on Payment page. $55 primary policy, and $40 for a secondary policy
Step 4: Email a copy of the front and back of your Insurance Card to margaret@innovativemedicalbillinginc.com. The easiest way is to take a photo with your phone and email it.
